Key Discussions / Highlights

• The Summit featured a panel discussion with representation from prominent institutions such as IIT Roorkee, IIM Kashipur, UPES (University of Petroleum & Energy Studies), the state science-tech body (UCOST), and the IndiaAI Mission / NIC.
• Through startup showcases and presentations, the Summit displayed AI-led solutions tailored for Uttarakhand’s needs — including solutions relevant for governance, social welfare, environment/climate resilience, and regional development.
• The discussions emphasized responsible and inclusive AI adoption — building an AI ecosystem that respects ethical considerations, supports innovation but remains socially accountable and sensitive to local needs.
• The Summit also served to integrate state-level AI policy and planning: it provided a platform to shape the local AI roadmap, aligned with the forthcoming national AI mission and summit.
