71st STPI Centre Inaugurated in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh

The 71st centre of Software Technology Parks of India at Gorakhpur was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath. The facility has been established to strengthen the IT and startup ecosystem in Eastern Uttar Pradesh and to promote technology-driven entrepreneurship in the Purvanchal region. The centre has been developed under the aegis of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, as part of ongoing efforts to expand digital infrastructure and support innovation beyond major metropolitan cities.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Arvind Kumar, Director General of Software Technology Parks of India, highlighted that the new centre will provide modern plug-and-play office spaces, incubation facilities, high-speed data connectivity, and collaborative work environments to support startups, IT/ITeS companies, and technology entrepreneurs. He noted that the facility is expected to nurture innovation, enable local talent to build technology ventures, and further strengthen the regional IT ecosystem while creating new employment opportunities for the youth of Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
